Dhikr for the day of Jumuah

Question:

Regarding the night and day of Jumu'ah - are there any adkhaar (words of remembrance) and eebaadaat (acts of worship) prescribed to be done a specific number of times and in a particular sequence?

Answer:

Yes, there is a special dhikr. The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: Do as much as you can do of sending blessings and peace upon me.[1] So this is the dhikr that is special for the day of Jumu'ah and the night before Jumu'ah which is the night that falls on Jumu'ah.

Other than that the Ulamaa say that recitation of Suratul Kahf on the day of Jumu'ah is something recommended.

As well as that, there is a time which is not a particular hour, but a time during the day of Jumu'ah , from after the Khutbah of Jumu'ah until sunset “ there is a time for supplication. So if one spends this time after Jumu'ah and before sunset, mostly sending salaat upon the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم and supplication, this would be a special thing on that day, wallahu aalam.
